We are currently seeking an experienced Restaurant Floor Manager who's ready to take the next step in their career to join The Dining Room team.

Responsibilities

• Maintain control of our busy restaurant during service, maintaining high service standards in accordance with company policy and making sure that all customers have a great experience from start to finish.
• To maintain systems that ensure excellent and consistent service standards.
• To run the restaurant door and manage all reservations during service.
• Lead the restaurant team and ensure the delivery of excellence in customer service.
• Wait tables and work long or double shifts in a high energy environment.
• Deal with any issues which arise during your shift and clearly communicate these to the General Manager

The Person

• A deep passion for and knowledge of food and wines. WSET or Guild of Sommeliers Certification a bonus.
• Enthusiastic, friendly, professional and approachable
• Warm, vibrant, enthusiastic and welcoming to guests, and passionate about creating memorable experiences
• Ability to lead and motivate staff
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team
• Flexibility in working hours
• You’re passionate about what you do and bring your authentic self to work everyday
• You’re innovative in your approach to your role and not afraid to think outside the box
• You’re an empathetic person, with the ability to inspire others
• You combine analytical and methodical thinking with high attention to detail and a solution-focused approach
• You have a high standard of integrity, with sound judgement and a commitment to excellence
